It sits among several other climbing spots in the park, with Poe Buttress about 0.1 mile away and Block Tower about 0.2 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bailey show July highs around 79°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay in the upper 30s. The Sunshine Trail and Cynical Trail are both about half a mile away for a hike.
