Sharkstooth is a climbing area in Rocky Mountain National Park, within the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness, on land managed by the National Park Service. It sits inside the national park's designated wilderness, so it falls under the park's own rules and is one of the park's own places rather than an area outside its boundaries. A fee is charged here, according to the National Park Service's own records. That makes it one of the park's fee-based climbing areas, so plan for the cost before you go. Other climbing areas are close at hand. Saber, The is about a tenth of a mile away, and Seldom Seen Wall, The is about a third of a mile away. For a change from the rock, Andrews Glacier Trail starts about 0.7 miles off, and Black Lake Trail is about 1.7 miles away.
