Second Pew is a climbing area in the Comanche Peak Wilderness, part of the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. The Forest Service manages the land. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Estes Park show July highs around 80°F with lows near 48°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. Pulpit Rock and First Pew are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and the North Boundary hike starts about 0.2 mile off. For an overnight stay, Rocky Mountain National Park's Aspenglen Campground is about 5.4 miles away.
