Redstone Area is a climbing area in the Sopris Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the Redstone community, where several climbing spots and campgrounds cluster close together. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 48°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. Redstone Family Campground and the Friends and Family Wall climbing area are both about 0.6 miles away. River Boulders is a similar distance. For a longer outing, Coal Basin Road is about 2 miles off.
