The Prow is a climbing area in the Sopris Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among two other climbing areas, North Wall and Team Wall, each about 0.1 mile away, making it easy to pair with those for a full day on the rock. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Meredith weather station show July highs around 81°F with lows near 40°F, and June and August run close to those figures. That station sits well below the Prow, so temperatures at the climbing area tend to run cooler. Nearby options include Lime Creek, a canoeing route about a mile away, and the Eagle Lake and Slim Jim hikes, both about 1.4 miles off. For an overnight stay, Elk Wallow Campground lies roughly 4.9 miles from the Prow.
