Middle Mother's is a climbing area in Colorado, about 13 miles from the town of Kannah. It sits in a cluster of other climbing spots, with Upper Mother's Buttress and Other Mothers each about 0.1 mile away, and Washout, The just as close. That makes it an easy anchor for a day of bouldering or route climbing. The most comfortable months are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 70°F in May to the mid-70s in September, while July highs average about 88°F and January highs sit near 39°F. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the area, so temperatures on the rock may run cooler. For a walk off the crag, the Main Trail is about half a mile away. Farther out, Big Dominguez Creek offers paddling about 7 miles off, and Hay Press Camping Area and Divide Forks Campground are both within 10 miles for an overnight stay.
