Mechanical Man is a climbing area in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the Boulder area, a cluster of climbing spots and trails on the western edge of the forest. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Boulder weather station put May highs around 71°F with lows near 43°F, and September highs around 79°F with lows near 48°F.
