It sits among several other climbing areas, including South Facing and West Facing, both about 0.1 mile away. For comfortable conditions, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 72°F and September highs near 79°F. That station sits well below the park, so temperatures at the climbing areas run cooler. Lakeview Campground is about 5.9 miles away, and paddlers can reach Main Elk Creek at about 7.8 miles.
