Lower Great Face is a climbing area in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Upper Great Face and Wizard's Gate both about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 68°F with lows near 43°F, and September highs around 59°F. That station sits about 900 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures up high run cooler. Twin Sisters Peaks and the Wind River Pass Trail are both within a mile. For an overnight stay, Rocky Mountain National Park Glacier Basin Campground is about 4 miles away.
