Leftism Alcove is a climbing area in Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, which sits on county land in Colorado. It's a cluster of rock within the park rather than a single route, and it sits about 0.1 mile from several other climbing spots, including Shoulder Boulder, The and Fox Block. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Evergreen weather station run to highs around 64°F in May and 73°F in September, with July peaking near 81°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the park, so temperatures on the rock may run slightly cooler. The Ponderosa Trail and Ranch View Trail are both hikes about 0.1 to 0.3 miles away, and Bear Creek offers paddling about 1.2 miles off.
