Knome Dome, also known as Water Dome, is a climbing area in the South Park Ranger District of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits about 0.3 miles from O'Brian Gulch Campground and 0.6 miles from Elevenmile Dome, another climbing area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Florissant Fossil Bed weather station, at a similar elevation, run from highs around 75°F in June to about 79°F in July, with September easing back to around 71°F. Winter is cold, with January highs near 39°F and lows around 5°F. Riverside Campground is about 0.9 miles away, and the Blue Moutain hike is about a mile off. For more climbing, Spray Wall lies roughly 1.3 miles away.
