Kinickinick Crags is a climbing area in Rocky Mountain National Park, within the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness, on land managed by the National Park Service. It sits about 2 miles from Meeker Park Overflow Campground and the Sandbeach Lake Trail, making it a natural stop for climbers and hikers exploring the park's western edge. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Allenspark show July highs around 74°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs hover around freezing. The National Park Service charges a fee for access. That covers all of Rocky Mountain National Park, not just this crag. Other nearby spots include Wild Basin, a bouldering area about 1.7 miles away, and Mount Alice, a hike roughly 1.8 miles off. Olive Ridge Campground is about 2.3 miles away for another place to stay.
