Hurd Creek Crag is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Kremmling Field Office in Colorado, about 4.3 miles from the weather station at Fraser, which sits at 8,560 feet. The crag is managed by the BLM. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser station show July highs around 77°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay around 31°F with lows dipping to about -1°F. The Ridge Runner hike starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Phase 0.25 mountain biking trail is 0.3 mile off. The First Wall and Upper Wall climbing areas are each about 0.4 mile away. For an overnight stay, St. Louis Creek Campground is roughly 5.9 miles from the crag.
