Fifth Flatiron is a climbing area on city land in the Bergheim - Wood unit of Colorado, about 0.1 mile from the Hourglass, The and Tangen Towers climbing areas. The land is managed by the city, and the surrounding area is a cluster of named climbing spots. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. The E.M. Greenman Trail and Kohler Mesa Trail are both within half a mile. Boulder Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2.2 miles away, and Winiger Ridge campground is roughly 4.7 miles off.
