The Dome is a climbing area in the Dillon Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and biking spots in the Frisco area, with Sunshine Buttress (aka Wichita Wall) just 0.1 mile away and Frisco Boulders about 0.3 mile off. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dillon show July highs around 75°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. For an overnight stay, Peak One Campground is about 2.7 miles away and Pine Cove Campground about 2.8 miles. Dillon Reservoir, roughly 3.9 miles out, offers lake fishing.
