The Crags is a climbing area in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Woodstone and Sharksfin each about a tenth of a mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 74°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay around freezing. That station sits well below the Crags, so temperatures on the crags run cooler. Twin Sisters Peaks and the Wind River Pass Trail are both under a mile away. For overnight stays, Rocky Mountain National Park Glacier Basin Campground is about 4 miles off, and Meeker Park Overflow Campground is about 4.4 miles away.
