Chiefshead South Face is a climbing area in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, inside the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness. The National Park Service manages the land. The park charges a fee, so plan on paying for entry or carrying a valid pass. Because the face sits within designated wilderness, expect the rules that apply to wilderness inside the park. Two other climbing areas lie about 0.3 miles away: Chiefshead Northwest Face and the broader Chiefshead area. Thunder Lake Trail and the Box-Eagle Lakes Route are both about 1.6 miles off. For camping, Meeker Park Overflow Campground is roughly 5.8 miles away.
