The Box is a climbing area on city land in Colorado, set among a cluster of other climbing spots. It sits right next to Finger Flatiron and Fi, both about 0.1 mile away, which makes it easy to pair with those areas on a single outing. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad routes, with 12 routes in total. The grades run from 5.7+ up to 5.13a, and the hardest of them, More-nucopia, is a sport route at 5.13a. Among the sport routes, Fact of a Door Frame is 5.11b/c and Discipline is 5.12b. The mixed route Aunt Jennifer's Tigers is 5.10d. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low 40s.
