Dines Amphitheater is a climbing area inside Staunton State Park in Colorado, on land managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of crags, with other walls just a short walk away. Summer brings the most comfortable climbing temperatures. Typical averages from the nearby weather station at Grant, at roughly the same elevation, show July highs around 75°F with lows near 43°F, and September highs around 66°F. July and August also see the most wet days of the year, about 14 to 15 a month. The Classroom and Cartoon Wall are both about 0.1 mile away, so it is easy to link several crags in one outing. Mason Creek Trail starts about 0.2 mile off, and the Staunton Ranch Trail is about half a mile away. For an overnight stay, Meridian Campground is about 9 miles out.
