Sunset Boating Site is a boat launch in the Grand Valley Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in western Colorado, about 14 miles from the town of Cedaredge. It's a day-use site with vault toilets, and day use costs $8 per vehicle per day. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 68°F with lows near 42°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-20s. Jumbo Campground and Jumbo Lake Campground sit right beside the launch, and the West Bench and Mesa Lake Shore hikes are both within half a mile.
