Sugar Magnolia is a short, low-elevation mountain biking route in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The ride starts at about 8,479 feet and climbs to 8,480 feet, a gain of 47 feet over roughly 0.2 miles. The route also has a loss of 82 feet, which makes it a quick, tight loop rather than a straight climb. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.11 miles in, with a grade of about 4%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Coal Creek Canyon weather station run to highs around 73°F in July and 71°F in August, with lows in the mid-40s. Winter is much colder, with highs around 33°F in December and January. Social 33 Rock Climb and Social 33 sit about 0.1 miles away. West Magnolia campground is about 0.6 miles off, and Eldora Summer Slab, a climbing area, is about 1.2 miles away.
