Old Lost Lake is a mountain biking route in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, about 3 miles from the town of Eldora. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is short, about 0.35 miles, and the climb is gentle. It starts at roughly 9,667 feet and reaches about 9,784 feet, with a total gain of 144 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, around 0.11 miles in, with an 8% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 68°F and lows near 43°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. Lost Lake and King Lake are both within a quarter mile, and the Eldora climbing area is about 0.3 miles away. For an overnight stay, Rainbow Lakes Campground is about 4.7 miles off.
