Sfnht Alt. Route D is a 4-mile out-and-back hike in the Comanche Ranger District of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, and the one-way climb is about 16 feet, so the round trip is roughly 32 feet. The route sits at about 4,440 feet, with the high point near 4,525 feet. The trail is natural-surface and bikes are allowed. It is not an accessible route. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
