Mountain Pride is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 2.6 miles in the Dillon Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 144 feet from a low point of 10,905 feet to a high of 11,150 feet. The route is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. The climb is gentle, with the most comfortable stretch coming in summer. Typical averages from the nearby Climax weather station show July highs around 67°F and lows near 40°F, with snow days dropping to zero from June through September. Bakers Tank and Baker's Tank Trail sit just a tenth of a mile and 0.3 miles away for mountain bikers. The Blue River, about 2.7 miles off, offers canoeing, and Selkirk Campground, roughly 6.3 miles away, is the closest place to camp.
