Bunch Ground is an easy hike in the Grand Valley Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2.8 miles long and rises roughly 900 feet one way, with a total round-trip gain of about 2,000 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about half a mile in, where the grade reaches nearly 30 percent. The trail is natural-surface and allows horses. Bikes are not permitted. The hike makes a good pairing with other outings in the area. Oak Cabin and Aspen Leaf Cabin (Uncompahgre National Forest, Co) are both about 1.7 miles away, and the Mailbox Cutoff hike is a similar distance. Divide Road, a mountain biking route, is about 1.8 miles off.
