Colorado Parks & Wildlife
The Cache la Poudre River through Poudre Canyon is Colorado's only federally designated Wild and Scenic River, offering excellent fly fishing for wild brown and rainbow trout. Multiple access points along Highway 14 provide wade fishing opportunities in a stunning canyon setting. The river holds good populations of wild trout and is best fished with dry flies and nymphs during summer and fall.
