Olive Ridge Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits in the foothills, about 1.4 miles from the Allenspark weather station, which sits at roughly 8,500 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical July averages from the nearby station run to a high of 74°F and a low of 44°F, while winter highs stay near freezing. Vault toilets are the only amenity on site, and a fee is charged for stays. The Lazy H Horse Trail Net and Fox Creek mountain biking trails are each about half a mile away. Climbers can head to Wild Basin (bouldering) and Kinickinick Crags, both within about 2.3 miles.
