Pescadero State Beach

Pescadero State Beach is a 91-acre California state park about 2 miles from the town of Pescadero. It is managed by California's state park agency. Late summer into early fall is the driest, mildest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in San Gregorio show highs around 71 to 72°F in August and September, with only about three wet days a month. Winter months there average closer to 60°F with roughly 13 wet days each. Two short trails sit right next to the park: the Sequoia Audubon Trail is about half a mile away and the North Pond Trail is about 0.6 miles away. Farther inland, the North Butano Truck Trail lies about 4 miles off. San Gregorio Creek, a paddling route, is about 6 miles away.
