Upper Toetally Broken Buttress is a climbing area in the Mountaintop Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations, with Icebox Canyon and Fisherman's Boulders each about 0.1 mile away. The area has six trad routes, all rated between 5.7 and 5.8 on the YDS scale. The routes are Corona, Modelo Especial, Negro Modelo, Tecate, Pacifico and Toetally Broken Again. The names suggest a loose theme of beer and broken things, with Modelo Especial and Negro Modelo standing out as 5.7s and Pacifico and Toetally Broken Again as 5.8s. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Big Bear Lake weather station, about 3 miles away, show July highs around 80°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs sit in the mid-40s.
