Upper Crust is a climbing area in Pinnacles National Park, within the Hain Wilderness in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among several other climbing areas and trails, so it works well as a base for exploring the surrounding rock and hiking routes. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 80°F and October highs around 82°F, while July and August average about 96°F. The station sits a few hundred feet lower than the area, so temperatures here run a little cooler. A fee is charged for entry. The closest neighbors include the East Face, Monolith and North Face climbing areas, along with the Moses Spring Trail.
