The Tub is a sport climbing area in the Mountaintop Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Radon Pinnacle and Trading Post Pinnacle each about 0.1 mile away. The area has five sport routes, all rated between 5.9+ and 5.11c/d. The easiest is Soap Sud at 5.9+, and the hardest is Irish Spring at 5.11c/d. The routes were first climbed between 1994 and 1999. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from the Lake Arrowhead weather station, about 4.6 miles away, show July and August highs around 81 to 82°F with lows near 57°F. Winter brings highs in the low 40s and a few snow days a month. Pinnacles and Metate are hikes about a mile away. North Shore campground and Lake Arrowhead - Green Valley Lake Recreation Area are both within about 5 miles.
