Triangle Boulder is a climbing area in Joshua Tree National Park, managed by the National Park Service, about 15 miles from Yucca Valley. It sits among several other bouldering spots, with Snack Boulder, School Boulder and the Old Woman faces all within about a tenth of a mile. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley run to highs around 73°F in April and 80°F in October, while July and August average about 96°F. A fee is charged for access. Sheep Pass Group campground lies about 3 miles away. Hikers can start at Hidden Valley Trailhead, about 0.4 miles off, or Echo T Trailhead, about 0.6 miles away.
