The Pig Sty is a bouldering area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Little Bighorn Area and Hidden Valley Campground both about 0.1 mile away. The area is a bouldering destination, with 10 routes listed, all of them boulders. The grades run from V0 to V6, with the median at V2. Among the named routes are Poorman's Railer at V1 and an unnamed boulder at V6. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average about 96°F. A fee is charged for park use. The closest trailheads are Echo T Trailhead, about 0.6 mile away, and Barker Dam Trail, about 0.7 mile away. Sheep Pass Group campground lies about 2.3 miles off.
