The Phantom Cart is a bouldering area in Joshua Tree National Park, within the Joshua Tree Wilderness in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Outer Rim just 0.1 mile away and Lizard's Landing about 0.4 mile off. The area is a compact, close-together set of boulder problems, and a fee is charged for access. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average about 96°F. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. The routes here are all boulders, with grades ranging from V0- to V5. Garden of Earthly Delights is a V4, and Leather and Lace is a V5. The North View Trailhead is about 0.6 mile away for a walk off the rock.
