Palos Verdes Peninsula is a climbing area in California on city-managed land. It sits among a cluster of short trails, with the Alta Vicente Trail about 0.2 miles away and the Bluff Top Trail about 0.3 miles away. The Rancho Caninos Dog Park is also within the area. The climbing here is bouldering and sport climbing, with six routes in total. Four are boulders, and two are sport routes, one of which is Pigeon Cave Left at 5.9 and the other Pigeon Cave Right at 5.10a. Weather stays mild year-round. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Torrance show highs around 67°F in winter and near 78°F in late summer, with almost no wet days from June through September. The station sits lower than the area, so temperatures on the peninsula may run a bit cooler.
