Northeast Face is a climbing area in Cragmont Rock Park, a city-managed park in California. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Southeast Face, Cragmont Park and Pinnacle Rock all about 0.1 mile away. Late summer into early fall is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Berkeley show September highs around 76°F with lows near 54°F and only about one wet day in the month. That station sits roughly 466 feet lower than the park, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler. The Selby Trail and Wildcat Gorge Trail are both about 0.9 mile away, and the Quarry Trail, a mountain biking route, is at a similar distance. Mineral Springs Trail is about a mile off.
