Moon Drops Boulder is a bouldering area in the San Jacinto Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and campgrounds in the San Jacinto area, so it works well as part of a longer visit to the forest. The area has six bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale. The easiest is In C at V1, and the hardest is Moon Drops at V5-6, with Blenny Run and Chaucer Boss each around V3-4. The names of the routes themselves, such as Moon Drops Slab and Mimosa, point to a mix of slab and pocketing holds. December Boulders and the NRA lie just 0.1 mile away, and Rounded Boulders is 0.2 mile off. Boulder Basin campground is also 0.2 mile away, making it an easy base for the day.
