The Maze is a climbing area in Brown's Valley Ridge Open Space, a city-managed open space in California. It sits on city land, and several other climbing spots lie within about a tenth of a mile, so it works well as a cluster of destinations rather than a single route. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. Cattle Drive Rock, Stonewall Rock and Woodcrest Ridge Boulders are all about 0.1 mile away. For a walk, the Al Patch Track Footpath is about 3 miles off.
