Mammoth Creek Road is a climbing area in the Mammoth Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the Mammoth Lakes Area, about a tenth of a mile from the Mammoth Lakes Area climbing area and the Student Boulder bouldering spot. The most comfortable months for a visit are July and August, when typical highs reach the upper 70s and lows sit in the upper 40s, based on averages from a nearby weather station at Mammoth Lakes. Winter is cold, with typical highs around 41°F and lows near 17°F from December through February. The area has one climbing route, Golden Face, a boulder problem rated V-easy. The Mammoth Rock Trail and the Snowcreek / Mammoth Creek Trail are both within a mile, and New Shady Rest Campground is about 0.8 miles away.
