Leaning Tower is a climbing area in Yosemite National Park, within the Yosemite Wilderness, on land managed by the National Park Service. It sits in the high country of the park, and a fee is charged for access. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 75°F with lows near 60°F and only about one wet day a month. That station sits roughly 765 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures up here run cooler. The Leaning Tower Base Routes and Fifi Buttress climbing areas are both about 0.2 miles away. The Bridalveil Fall Trail starts about 0.3 miles off, and Bridalveil Creek Campground is about 3.8 miles away.
