It sits within the Bishop area, where Eldorado Roof and Mothership Cliff both lie just 0.1 mile away, so the two can be added to a visit easily. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Bishop airport weather station show highs around 74°F in April and 78°F in October, while July highs average 100°F. That station sits well below the gorge, so expect cooler temperatures on the cliff.
