Frank's Boulder is a bouldering area in California's Mount San Jacinto State Park, within the San Bernardino National Forest and the San Jacinto Ranger District. The land is managed by State Park and Recreation. The climbing here is all bouldering, with eight routes spread across the V2 to V7 range on the V scale. Frank's Problem, with a V4 grade, and Frank's Roof, a V3, are among the boulders named for Frank Cornelius, who made the first ascent of Frank's Roof. The hardest route is Hesitation Factor, a V7 that Paul Dusatko climbed in 1996 under the original name Posse. The Terminator is a V2. Two other boulders sit right next door: Black Moon Boulder and Angus Boulder, each about 0.1 mile away. The Round Valley Trail and Desert View Trail both lie within half a mile, so a short walk is an easy way to pair a bouldering session with time on foot.
