Enchanted Rock is a climbing area in California's Sierra National Forest, within the Bass Lake Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits close to other climbing spots in the Willow Creek Wall and Upper Willow Creek Wall areas, along with Kelty Meadow campground and the Sky Trail hike. The climbing here is all sport routes, and the grade range runs from 5.7 up to 5.11a. Among the 11 routes are Delightful Diagonal at 5.7, Improbable at 5.10b, and More Core at 5.11a. The Anderson clan first ascended most of them, with Jerry Anderson listed for More Core. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 80°F and lows near 50°F, with only a day or two of precipitation each month. That station sits roughly 1,400 feet lower than the rock, so expect cooler temperatures on the wall.
