Coral Sea Wall - West Face is a sport climbing area on the west face of the Coral Sea Wall in the Mountaintop Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest in California. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits about a tenth of a mile from the main Coral Sea Wall climbing area and the One-Eyed Cat Wall. Five sport routes cover the face, with grades ranging from 5.7 to 5.12a/b. The easiest is Treasure Trove at 5.7, and the hardest is Poseidon at 5.12a/b. Angel Fish and Hanging in Limbo sit in the 5.10 range. All are sport routes. Summer is the warmest and driest stretch for a visit. Typical averages from the nearby Big Bear Lake weather station put July highs around 80°F with lows near 50°F, and the station sits about 900 feet below the wall, so temperatures on the face run cooler. Winter brings highs in the mid-40s and lows near 24°F.
