Campfire Crag - South Face is a climbing area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within the Campfire Crag Area, which also includes the Campfire Crag Boulder, Campfire Crag - North Face and Alpentine Wall, all about 0.1 mile away. The area has 22 routes, with 13 in trad and 9 in sport. Grades run from 5.6 to 5.11b, with Fool's Ruby at 5.6 and Feast at 5.11b. Sokolove is a sport route at 5.6, and Kundalini-Linguini-Weenie is a trad route at 5.9. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average about 96°F. A fee is charged for climbing in the park.
