The Bayou (aka The Graveyard) is a climbing area in Deer Creek Park in Rocklin, California, on city-managed land about 0.3 miles from the town of Rocklin. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots within the park, so it works well as one stop among several. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 73°F with lows near 49°F, and October highs around 79°F, while July and August average about 94°F. Several climbing areas lie within a tenth of a mile, including Children of the Night Boulder and Rocklin (Deer Creek Park). For a hike, Peaches Trail is about 2 miles away.
