Angler Boulder is a bouldering area in Yosemite National Park, California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within the park's own land, about a tenth of a mile from Curry Village, and is a short walk from the GPA - Right Side climbing area and the Panorama Trail. The bouldering here is all on the same rock, with six routes ranging from V0 to V6 on the V scale. The most notable is The Angler, a V3 boulder problem. The routes are all boulders, so there is no climbing on ropes or anchors. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and October highs around 71°F, while July and August average highs near 89°F. A fee is charged for park use. Lower Pines Campground and North Pines Campground are both within a mile, and the Merced River is about 4 miles away for paddling.
