Central Wall Amphitheater is a climbing area in California on Bureau of Land Management land within the Eagle Lake Field Office. It sits at the heart of a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with the East Wall and West Wall climbing areas each about 0.1 mile away and the Bizz Johnson Trail likewise close by. The amphitheater holds 20 routes, mostly trad (17) and a few sport. Grades run from 5.7 up to 5.12d, with the median at 5.10c. Notable climbs include Family Route (5.7) and Lithos (5.12d), which Suchoski first ascended in 2022. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Susanville show May highs around 69°F and October highs around 67°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. The Susan River, about 1.5 miles away, offers canoeing and fishing in the Eagle Lake Ranger District. For an overnight, Roxie Peconom campground lies about 8.5 miles off.
