Great Western & Kings/Kern Divide is a climbing area in California's Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness, within Kings Canyon National Park. The National Park Service manages the land, and the area sits at the divide between the Great Western and Kern sides of the park. Twelve alpine-style climbing routes make up the area. Most sit around 5.8 on the YDS scale, with the hardest at 5.10c. The Northeast Face and the Variation to The Great Chimney are both 5.8, while Turn Down For What is the 5.10c route. Kern Kaweah is about 1.3 miles away, and Colby Pass North is about 2.7 miles away. Tamarack Lake Area and The Prism, both climbing areas, are each about 3.1 miles off.
