Superior Lake is a mountain biking route in California's Ansel Adams Wilderness, within the Mammoth Ranger District of Inyo National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route lies about 3.8 miles long, rising from roughly 8,100 feet to about 9,500 feet with a total gain of 1,358 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Tuolumne Meadows show July highs around 71°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs there sit in the low 40s.
